About the East Midlands Volleyball Association
East Midlands Volleyball Association is one of nine regional governing bodies within the Volleyball England structure. Our region covers the counties of Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Nottinghamshire.
We organise leagues, lead regional junior squads and support our clubs, coaches, officials and volunteers. The Association is run entirely by volunteers. For the latest, follow us online on Facebook and Instagram.
Adult leagues:
Several of the region's clubs compete in the Volleyball England National League. At regional level, the East Midlands Volleyball Association currently run two Men's leagues and one Women's league. At county level, there are opportunities to compete in the Northamptonshire league.
Junior competitions:
At regional level, we run a series of Grand Prix events across the East Midlands for junior teams (Under 18). These are suitable for all levels from novice players and school teams, clubs and community groups are all welcome.
Junior regional squads:
From January to May, the East Midlands Volleyball Association also runs our programme for talented athletes in the region. We run a series of training sessions to select squads (U15 Girls, U15 Boys, U17 Girls and U17 Boys) to represent the East Midlands at Volleyball England's annual Inter Regional Championships.
